Happy Thanksgiving!

Dear Residents, 

My NYCHA colleagues and I would like to wish you and your family a happy and meaningful Thanksgiving! 

The holiday season provides an important opportunity to take stock and reflect upon all that we’re grateful for. Personally, I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of the efforts to transform NYCHA communities, to able to improve the quality of life for the hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers we serve. 

Although there are challenges, we are clearly making progress, from the major housing preservation programs that are generating billions of dollars of vital investment in your homes, to the significant improvements we’re seeing in heating and elevator service, pest management, and mold and lead abatement, among many important areas that impact NYCHA residents. 

I, alongside NYCHA’s 12,000 hardworking employees, am wholeheartedly dedicated to making a difference. My colleagues and I look forward to our continued partnership with you, and hope that the coming weeks are filled with relaxation and joy.
