Join NYCHA for a Baby Shower Resource Fair on March 5!
NYCHA is inviting all expecting/pregnant families and those with infants to participate in a Baby Shower Resource Fair at Ingersoll Houses in Brooklyn on Saturday, March 5 from 12pm to 4pm.
Join NYCHA’s Health Initiatives team and over 20 partners for free resources and giveaways such as diapers, blankets, books, home-proofing items, toys, pajamas, food pantry items, and more. Attendees will also be entered in a raffle for a chance to win a high chair, stroller, Pack N’ Play, or car seat. There will also be opportunities to meet with organizations that specialize in childcare services, bonding classes, newborn home visiting, doula services, and more.
You and your family will enjoy fun activities, including a photo booth and arcade basketball as well as free grab n’ go food and refreshments. The event will feature special entertainment from Carnegie Hall’s Lullaby Project artists.
The Baby Shower is part of Healthy Start @ NYCHA, an initiative that connects expecting families to resources and support.
