Smith Houses Resident Association President Aixa Torres’ letter of support for NYCHA Chair & CEO Shola Olatoye appeared in the “Voice of the People” section of the Daily News on November 18, 2017:

“As a NYCHA resident for the past 55 years, and a mother and a grandmother, I am shocked and disturbed by the calls for Olatoye’s resignation. If elected officials succeed in calling for her resignation, they will have pushed out the one person in this city who is both willing and able to fix the Housing Authority.”
