SYEP Applications Open for NYers 14-24 – Apply Now!

Attention NYCHA residents between the ages of 14 and 24: now’s your chance to explore career options and get paid work experiences this summer through the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP), the nation’s largest youth employment program.
Through SYEP, participants can explore different interests and career pathways; develop productive workplace habits; and engage in learning experiences that strengthen their social, civic, and leadership skills. NYCHA residents in the selected developments below have reserved slots through the MAP to $uccess and CareerFIRST programs; NYCHA residents living outside these developments receive priority in the general citywide application.

SYEP MAP 2 $uccess and CareerFIRST developments have dedicated providers to support youth with their SYEP experience. Applications for these developments will be routed directly to the corresponding provider based on the applicant’s address.
