It’s now much easier for NYCHA residents to apply for New York State’s Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP).

Emergency Rental Assistance Program. Starting June 1, eligible NYers will be able to apply to receive up to 12 months of back rent and other assistance. NYCHA residents who meet the eligibility requirements may apply.
