West Nile Virus Mosquito Treatment

The New York City Housing Authority will be treating all of the catch basins located on Housing Authority developments to reduce the mosquito population in an effort to minimize the transmission of the West Nile Virus. These treatments will take place between June and September of 2021. One or more of the following pesticides will be used:

Vectolex CG, EPA Reg. No. 73049-20, Toxicity Category – “Caution”
Summit B.t.i. Briquets, EPA Reg. No. 6218-47, Toxicity Category – “Caution” 
Altosid XR, EPA Reg. No. 2724-421, Toxicity Category – “Caution”
