Wise Rehab Residents Walk-N-Roll for Spina Bifida Awareness

Vernice Tillery, resident of Wise Rehab in Manhattan, organized a family-friendly Walk-N-Roll to raise awareness and funds for the Spina Bifida Association (SBA). The event was held on September 2 in Central Park. Ms. Tillery’s grandson was born with spina bifida; he is one of more than 177,000 Americans living with this disabling birth defect. She hosted the walk to show appreciation for the work SBA does on behalf of people with spina bifida. With the help of neighbors and friends, the walk and rollers raised $500 for SBA.
