New Date & Location for NYCHA’s Annual Plan Public Hearing

Please note that NYCHA has changed the date and location of its Annual Plan public hearing. The public is invited to comment on NYCHA’s Draft Significant Amendment to the FY 2022 Annual Plan and the FY 2023 Draft Annual Plan at a public hearing on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Pace Schimmel Theater (3 Spruce Street in Manhattan). 

The Draft Amendment and Agency Plan documents are available for review at on.nyc.gov/nycha-annual-plan.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 health crisis, the New York City Housing Authority will hold this year’s Annual Plan public hearing remotely and in person.

Please check in with Security (on the sidewalk) upon arrival if you attend in person. Attendees must provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 (or, in the case of medical or religious exemptions, the results of a COVID-19 PCR test administered within 72 hours of arrival). The COVID-19 protocols are subject to change, so please visit on.nyc.gov/nycha-annual-plan for the latest updates.

To attend the hearing via Zoom, please register at on.nyc.gov/aug-public-hearing-registration. To access the hearing via phone, dial 888-788-0099 and use webinar ID number 869 9096 9748. Instructions on how to participate, as well as meeting materials, will be posted on before the meeting.

Interpretation services will be available on Zoom in Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Russian, and American Sign Language. Anyone wishing to speak on the items related to the Draft Significant Amendment to the FY 2022 Agency Annual Plan and the FY 2023 Draft Agency Annual Plan should sign up at on.nyc.gov/public-hearing-survey. All speakers are asked to limit their remarks to three minutes. You can also email comments to annualplancomments@nycha.nyc.gov through September 2, 2022.
