Paid Opportunities for Youth this Summer

Deadline Extended to April 30!

The Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) helps young people ages 14 to 21 explore career opportunities, connect with professionals, and learn essential job readiness and workplace skills –all while earning money. Young people ages 14-15 can participate in paid project-based activities which will help them explore different career opportunities, while those between the ages of 16-21 can apply for paid summer jobs in a variety of industries throughout NYC.

You must live in one of the five boroughs and be eligible to work in the United States. Internet access is required to participate in the Summer Youth Employment Program. If selected for the program, let your provider know if you do not have an internet-connected device, such as a smartphone, iPad, or computer.

The lottery-based program is open to all NYC youth. Apply online by April 30 by clicking here. Limited positions are available, so apply today! For more information, contact NYC DYCD Community Connect at 1-800-246-4646.
